CareKind à la carte

FAQs

  • My standard payment structure for CareKind Daytime and Overnight packages requires a 50% deposit to secure your due date and the remaining balance is split into 4 equal payments due each week of care.

Payment for CareKind à la carte shifts are due in full at the time of booking.

  • While each shift is tailored to daily clients needs, often I support families with hands-on newborn care, breast and bottle feeding guidance, developmentally appropriate sleep guidance, and more.

Typical household tasks include washing and folding laundry, washing bottles and pump parts, labeling and storing breast milk, light meal prep, tidying and restocking the nursery, and more.

I'm also happy to prepare meals or play with older children and pets!

One of my strongest skills is walking into a home and knowing exactly when you need space, rest, and what tasks need immediate attention. All aligned with the goals and values you've shared during our interview and prenatal visits.

  • No problem! I've had clients over the years that breastfeed, bottle feed, and combo feed.

My breast and combo feed clients are still able to prioritize sleep and rest during shifts. I'll be right there to help troubleshoot feeding struggles, handle diaper changes, swaddle, support baby to sleep, or even bottle feed and wash pump parts if a client prefers to pump instead of nurse during shifts.

  • I completed Newborn Care Specialist training in 2013 and Postpartum Doula training in 2019. I have over a decade of newborn experience including families with multiples, preemies, diverse cultural values, and more.

I am also a Holistic Sleep Coach trained by Dr. Lyndsey Hookway - IBCLC and pediatric nurse. This knowledge of biologically appropriate sleep allows me to optimize sleep for new families while supporting secure attachment and bonding with their new baby.

My career has also included extensive experience as a Certified Lactation Counselor, Professional Nanny, CPST, and Infant/Toddler Playgroup Leader.
